The Hy-Lok CNG products such as receptacles, ball valves, check valves, filters, extraction valves and pipe fittings have been developed specially for use in CNG-fuelled vehicles (Compressed Natural Gas). Our CNG products conform to Directives ECE R110 and AGA/CGA NGV.
Hy-Lok receptacles are designed for permanent installation on CNG-fuelled vehicles.
QC1 Series receptacles use the AGA/CGA NGV 1 profile. This allows 100% interchangeability with all pump nozzles that meet standard AGA/CGA NGV 1. QC2 Series receptacles are tested and approved to AGA/CGA NGV 1 and ECE R110. They have been designed specially for the fuelling of buses and trucks and have first-class flow properties.
The Hy-Lok QC1 and QC2 Series CNG receptacles comprise an extremely reliable check valve that opens only when a difference in pressure exists during filling. The integrated check valve ensures a unidirectional flow. It is equipped with a self-centering valve stem. Dust caps are supplied as standard with all receptacles.

The Hy-Lok CNG Series ball cocks require minimum maintenance and are designed for a long service life and high pressures. A 1/4 turn of the ball cock ensures quick open/closed control of the flow from the vehicle tank to the engine.
Hy-Lok CNG ball cocks have a cup spring-loaded seat. They are opened and closed with a 1/4 turn requiring minimum actuation force. The CNG ball cock is designed for bidirectional flow.

The Hy-Lok 700H Series check valves are designed for the flow control of compressed natural gas. They are tested and approved for this application in accordance with AGA/CGA NGV 3.1 and ECE R110.
Hy-Lok 700H Series check valves are designed in through-pass form with an opening element with rear stop and NBR seat. The opening pressure is easily recognisable from the type ring.

The natural gas vehicle filters are designed for the protection of critical engine components in CNG-fuelled vehicles. During fuelling, pollutants can enter the vehicle’s fuel tank. Such pollutants can come from compressors and storage facilities for the compressed natural gas. The filters are intended in particular for the filtering of oil, water and solid pollutants from compressed natural gas. The Hy-Lok filters remove more than 95% of all aerosols in the size range 0.3 to 0.6 micrometres.
Thanks to their sturdy design, the Hy-Lok filters for compressed natural gas (CNG) are particularly durable and are easy to service. Their compact dimensions offer flexibility for the installation. The filter element can be easily replaced.

As with the Hy-Lok filters, the FT Series of micron T-filters is designed for the protection of critical engine components in CNG-fuelled vehicles. The filter elements can be replaced without having to remove the housing from the line.
The filter elements of sintered stainless steel can be changed without having to remove the filter from the pipeline system. The T-filter is compact and sturdy and has an integrated union nut.

Hy-Lok extraction valves are intended for manual discharge, bleeding or emptying.
The drain opening allows excess liquids or gases to be bled from the system lines. The valve housing has a crimped knurled cap to prevent undesirable removal from the housing.
