Different constructions can be employed for the reliable shut-off, control or metering of gases and liquids, depending on the requirements. Differences exist, for example, in the design, pressure resistance and control precision.
Because oft the finely manufactured stem tip and valve design the MT1 series metering valves allow exact metering.
If the application requires the accurate metering of gases and liquids the metering valves of MT1 series are the right choice. Because of the obstructed stem tip with 3° taper and the orifice of 1.2mm even lowest flow rates can be adjusted accurately. The maximum flow coefficient is about cv = 0.024. With the extra fine stem thread the flow coefficient can be reduced over 18 turns down to nearly 0. The optional micrometer handle allows the effortless reproduction of the stem position.
For extra fine regulation the MT1 series is also available on request with a maximum flow coefficient of cv = 0.01. In this case the taper of the stem tip is 1°.

NV Series needle valves provide exact control of gases and liquids.
NV Series needle valves can be used up to pressures of 413 bar, depending on size, temperature and medium.
Their simple construction and range of different spindle tips in metal or PCTFE make the NV Series suitable for use as regulating valves or as shut-off valve.

Thanks to the special position of the spindle packing, the GB Series needle valves are suitable for applications in which the medium must not be contaminated.
The GB Series shut-off valves are special needle valves for high demands on the purity of the medium and on environmental safety. The spindle has a back seal to prevent ejection of the spindle when the valve opens under high pressure. Thanks to the special position of the spindle seal, the spindle thread does not come into contact with the medium. As a result, the lubricant remains in the spindle thread, fretting is prevented and process media are not contaminated.
An optional graphite spindle packing allows high-temperature applications up to 648°C.

SVH Series needle valves are designed for high-pressure applications up to 690 bar (10,000 psi).
SVH Series needle valves are designed for pressures up to 689 bar (SVH1) and are used in applications where particularly high pressure or system safety is demanded. The valve has a valve neck retainer that prevents unintentional unscrewing of the valve upper part.

The straight passage of the metering valve offers the option of maximum flow rate with minimum pressure loss.
The straight passage of the RP Series valve offers the option of maximum flow rate with minimum pressure loss.
Thanks to the special position of the spindle seal, the spindle thread does not come into contact with the medium. As a result, the lubricant remains in the spindle thread, fretting is prevented and process media are not contaminated. A pressure gauge port is available as an option. Control panel installation is possible. Low wear in the valve seat is ensured by the non-rotating spindle tip.
